Meet Delaney

Host

I’m Delaney! I really connected with the outdoors in my early 20s and fell deeply in love with climbing. I started indoor bouldering for community and fitness. Shortly after was introduced to sport climbing and that was it. I quickly began shaping my life around it.

I fell in love with the sport, the community, and the way it brings me into nature and into my body. It healed parts of myself I didn’t know needed attention and continues to shape who I am. There is so much that the sport brings out, and so much to interpret from it, like many things it feels like a reflection of ourselves.

I was introduced to outdoor climbing through a girlfriend and have been fortunate to learn from and share with many amazing women. Through climbing, I’ve built some of the most beautiful, empowering, and impactful female friendships, seriously EVER. I want to share climbing, and the connection, confidence, strength, and sense of self/ direction it creates with other women and people.

Another passion of mine is photography. During these group trips, I document the experience and offer professional portraits and climbing photos. I’m here for support, to help cultivate the space, and make sure everything runs smoothly! :) Book a call with me to chat more below.

Meet Petra

Climbing Guide

I started climbing relatively late, at 24, because since I was a child my main sport was skiing.

Everything began after finishing university. I went travelling to Spain with some friends, with the idea of climbing a bit, learning Spanish and working a little. After some time, my friends went back to the Czech Republic and I decided to stay in Spain so I could keep climbing, and also because it just felt too good living here ;). I bought a van to live in, and for about ten years I lived that way, working as little as possible and climbing as much as I could.

For me, climbing is not just a sport. It is about being in nature, van life, travelling, and sharing climbs with friends and like-minded people, as well as meeting new ones. It is my passion, and I believe that having a passion — whatever it is — is essential to living a full life, keeping motivation, curiosity, and drive alive.

Now, in my forties, with the big boom of climbing and climbing gyms, I still hold on to this “romantic” perspective of climbing. What I like about coaching is the same thing I like about climbing: spending time outdoors, in good company, and being able to help and share some of the things I have learned over the years.

Meet Ire

Climbing Guide

I’m Irene. I studied Fine Arts in Cuenca, and around the age of 25-26, I discovered climbing in a place full of rock like Cuenca. I immediately fell in love with this amazing and challenging sport, which requires a lot of dedication if you want to improve. Slowly, my life started to revolve around climbing: I moved to the Pyrenees, combining climbing with mountaineering and skiing. I come from a very different world—the arts—which is still a part of me, but in the mountains I finally found my place.

Nowadays, I work as a guide in the Alps and also for climbing in Spain, combining it with my job as a ski lift operator in winter and with concert production in Switzerland during the summer. What I love most about being a guide is meeting new people from all over the world, sharing experiences, and passing on my passion for the mountains and climbing. For me, climbing isn’t just a physical activity—it’s nature, travel, friends, new connections, and shared adventures.

At the end of the day, I believe life is best lived following your passion, staying curious, and surrounding yourself with the people and places that inspire you the most.
